Dublin IP and R&D Summit 2024 | ReaDI-Watch

ReaDI-Watch was delighted to participate in the  2024 Dublin IP and R&D Summit. This event is known for bringing together professionals from the fields of intellectual property and research and development, fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration.

The summit was held on September 4th and 5th, 2024, with the first day taking place at the Enterprise Ireland Offices and the second day at The Convention Centre Dublin. The event aims to ignite conversations around the future of innovation and IP strategy in an era marked by rapid technological evolution and changing regulations.

The event was  a variety of sessions, including panel discussions, interactive product demos, and networking opportunities. The first day will focus on Irish innovation, covering topics such as IP awareness, building brand identity, and the intersection of IP and investment. 

The second day  provided a broader European perspective, discussing themes like innovation for growth, legal implications of AI, global IP strategies, trademark trends, and copyright developments.

Key speakers at the summit included Skirmanta Balsevičienė, Senior IP Legal Counsel at Vinted; Fergal Clarke, Director of Patent Licensing at Lenovo; and Rob Grimes, General Counsel at Lighthouse Studios. These industry experts  shared their insights and experiences, providing valuable knowledge to all attendees.

ReaDI-Watch was particularly excited about the opportunity to connect with other industry professionals and explore the future of intellectual property management and research development.
