In his efforts & drive to transform industrial R&D for the better, Prof. Gerry Byrne, Chief Scientific Officer of ReaDI-Watch, engages with acatech, the German Academy of Science and Engineering. acatech's mission is to provide independent, evidence-based advice to policymakers and the public on technology, engineering, and innovation issues, in the service of the common good. acatech acts as a “working academy,” meaning its members (from academia, industry, and related fields) actively participate in thematic networks and project groups to tackle current technological challenges.
